The only way I know of is to click on their avatar/photo and see if they have an email or IM listed.
OOOPS, one more way. If they have a 360 you can go there and leave a message.

I asked the same question not long ago and got some great advice. The best one so far has to been to choose a Best Answer after 4 hours and add a comment when doing so. I was able to let them know how much I appreciated their help. I also thanked the person who told me how to do this but in this case, no need. Just passing it along.

click on their picture then at the right see if it says email this person and if it does you can email them

you really cant if they choose not to get messages or ims...
