I have been with my bf for almost 3 years. We were in the same state and I asked him to move in together, he said he is not ready. So I decided to move back to where I was from originally, for financial reasons. I knew I should have broke it off then, but he wouldnt let go, and we kept seeing each other, long distance relationship. It became very difficult for me to keep this relationship, as I slowly lost friends, I felt I was married to him but never could do anything with him ( because he is not here) and because my friends are gone ( he is jealous). He kept talking about marriage, and wanting me to move there. So I told him, propose to me and I will move. He wouldnt, saying it is either the money, or we argue too much... etc.. I became so angry w him all the time, b/c he wouldnt give me what I wanted, I wanted to be with him, and by his side, but he always acted ok with the distnce. I was the only one with the urge to be 2gether. Why didnt he propose if he loves me ?

For a man to happily propose it has to be his idea not some sort of ultimatum for you to get what you want.

You scared him off

It sounds like he likes the distance because that way he controls everything. He knows what you want, but that would make you more equal - then he would have to work at keeping things together - now he can say anything he thinks you need to hear and nobody can deny or verify he means it!! Decent relationships do NOT survive the battle of the two contollers.... he loves you from a distance - won't work for you. Give him up.

He doesn't sound like he is ready to get married or even be in a committed relationship. If he really wanted to be with you, he would nothing would stop him. I think it is time for you to look at what you need and want for yourself. Take a break from talking to him for a while. If something is this hard, then it is probably not meant to be. You should not be without friends either.

Sweety,
Why should he buy the Cow when he can get the Milk for free ? You are better off without him. Find a Man who will love you, and make a Marriage commitment to you. I hate to admit it, but some of us guys can be real jerks, but not all of us are. You can have love and commitment, just keep looking. There are Men out there who are looking for the same thing's that you are. Just don't give up !
God Bless !
