suppose in about 5-10 yrs, there's a dramatic increase in the number of peopl who have sex with animals;well if they start demanding human animal marriges, will you rollover&let it happen just like you expect christians to rollover now?Or will you take a stand&say it's immoral&shouldnt happen?
If you are the later, what reasons besides it goes against God,it's immoral(remember people set there own morals supposedly)&its unconstitutional(cuase constitution says nothing of the such),what reasons would you give for not legalizing Beastiality&allowing humans&animals to get married?

What she said... and... there are Gay and lesbian Christians (refrain from your judgement, God will sort it out later). Dare to do some Bible study yourself... visit the Metropolitan Community Church website or soulforce.org.

Beastility is abuse of an animal and is not based upon love, it's merely lust. Thus I cannot support lust. The animals do not consent to the actions, thus it is abuse. The people who perform the actions are thus abusing the animals. And the government always has laws protecting animals from abuse (though sadly it enforces it about as well as it does the laws that are meant to prevent other forms of abuse). Two people who love each other and consent to be in a loving relationship with each other (whether they have sex with each other or not.....saying this since I know some homosexuals who are in relationships and are celibate)...then that is what I support and I think that the government should offer the same protections, benefits, and even penalties to all loving couples regardless of whether the couple is composed of people of the same-sex or the opposite-sex.

Now am I expecting a person to change their religious beliefs and thus force a religious tradition to change it's view? No, absolutely not. However, as a taxpaying citizen I expect the government to treat me as an equal citizen. And the argument that gays and lesbians have been trying to make to the government is that they want the government to treat them fairly. Sadly some have tried (like the media) to change the image of the debate...to give the illusion that gays and lesbians are demanding that people give up their religious liberties and force them to perform the sacrament of marriage in that tradition. Instead they are asking for the civil contract of marriage as offered by the government, not by religious traditions, and all the responsibilities that go with that contract. As for religious tradtions, well gays and lesbians are as diverse in their religious beliefs as most people are in our great nation and they value religious liberty. While the media and some others try to frame the debate as one about religion, the real issue is that gays and lesbians are seeking the government for a redress of grievances and petitioning the government of which they support and belong to treat them as equal citizens.
