I just had my 4 month old (male) Pomeranian pup neutered 3 days ago. The vet handed me a sheet with instructions that said "No running, jumping, rough playing and short leashed walks for the next 2 weeks" among other things. Is the "Instructions sheet" just plain poorly written i.e. did they mean recently neutered dogs CAN only go on short leashed walks but not run, etc.? My poor puppy is naturally hyper so he is not a happy camper without his exercise. He even had the zoomies and I had to stop him. I know these energy boosts are normal from ages 3 to 6 months but I know the lack of exercise is contributing to his zoomies. How many days after the surgery (castration) can the dog go for a short leashed walk? How do you get your puppy to safely release its energy during the 2 weeks after neutering? Thank you for reading the whole posting before responding without the snippy comments.

Unfortunately for you, he cant release his energy without hurting himself. Maybe try crating him when he gets crazy...that way he will have to calm down cause he cant go anywhere....I wouldnt worry about his releasing his energy..he is a pup and has many years of living and playing to look forward to...kudos to you for having him neutered. You are doing the right thing by keeping him calm and safe.

No, there's no need to follow those instructions.
As long as the area stays clean and dry, it's okay to let him back to normal activities.
I'm not sure what you meant when you said that it's running in circles, because if it really does, then it must have an ear infection, causing it to lose balance.
If the area gets red, and inflame, put some neosporing on it.
If it starts to swell up, then it needs to take it easy for awhile and rest.

I think those instructions are for people who would otherswise allow dogs to run thru mud and allow the dog to open and dirty up the cut. allow him to run but be sure he doesn't jump or go into dirty areas and check the stiches daily. If this was a female dog the reasons whould be more obvious

God exists exterior of high quality judgment. to characterize that God has to stick to the regulations of high quality judgment might propose that there is a few thing extra effectual than God and he's limited by it in some way. on condition that maximum regard God to be all effectual, it extremely is not actual and so he exists exterior of high quality judgment. this suggests then that he can carry out any job no remember if it lie interior the geographical regions of high quality judgment or no longer. case in point he ought to create a stone so heavy he could no longer elevate mutually as on the comparable time protecting his omnipotence. regrettably human minds are bounded by high quality judgment so we could in no way wish to understand this sort of ingredient, yet our comprehension isn't required for some thing to be actual. of direction you get categories of theists, people who beleive God is or isn't bounded by high quality judgment, i'm in basic terms featuring you with a competent reason many ought to think of he's not. i'm an atheist yet my concept of God could be one that isn't tied by logical constraints.
