I had a stock Acura rsx system and i really thought that with a new audio system and head unit the reception of the fm stations would improve but i was wrong. I don't even know where the antenna is on the rsx. There isn't one visible. I just want something to will give a better reception so the stations come in more clearly. Any after market products i could buy to improve the problem or better yet will Acura be able to replace the antenna wherever it is

If you can't find the antenna on your Acura, it's probably built into the rear window. Most vehicles that are made this way include a stock antenna amplifier. When a new head unit is installed it's important to hook up the wire that will power up the antenna amplifier. If you had poor reception on the factory system, the amplifier may not be working in your car, or there may be some other problem with the antenna system.

AM and FM reception is one area where many stock radios outperform after-market head units.

There are antenna boosters out there that improve reception. I cannot tell you how good they work because I never really listen to the radio and so I don't have a problem with my reception.

The antenna is probably in the rear window glass. They are known to be poor. There are antenna power boosters. I last saw one in Walmart or Radio shack.
