While cigars and lighters may work for a couple of guys, there are six guys total and most don't smoke/wouldn't appreciate cigars. Also, what's an appropriate amount to spend per guy? I'm thinking $50 - $100?

I've seen everything from cufflinks, monagrammed flasks, beer steins, cigar cutters, bottles of nice wine or other alcohol to a round of golf at a nice course.

Actually, the round of 18 (with cart) was given to my husband by a friend of ours with a divot tool and a golf towel. That was my husband's favorite "thank you" gift he's ever gotten for standing up for a friend.

But it doesn't have to stop there - you could do baseball tickets or football tickets, depending on what your guys are into. There's also no rule that you have to give each of your groomsmen the same thing (just do your best to spend the same on each of them!). In fact, celebrating their differences by giving each a gift that reflects their uniqueness is very thoughtful!

Hope this helps. Best of luck to you!

Check out www.theknot.com We got our groomsmen and bridesmaid's gifts there. They have a different item on sale every day, so if you get lucky you can catch something good. We did engraved pocket knives. The guys loved them! Look through the gift ideas and try to pick out what you would like to get as a gift. We spent less than $20 on each person, but if you can afford more go for it, but don't feel obligated.

Some ideas I have are a nice leather wallet, cuff links, an engraved keychain, or a pocketknife. I think $50-$100 is the perfect range.

My husband decided to get all of his groomsman (5 of them) a watch. You'd think it would be really expensive, but if you buy them from a jewler, then you get a bulk rate and they have really nice watches that go for under $100 all the time. Plus all guys could use another watch. Our groomsman still wear them all the time and say its the best gift they've gotten so far.

I've been given flasks, engraved pocket knives, mugs, hand-made(by the groom) duck call and a key ring.
Used the key ring the most but every guy is different.
I'd think $50 would be plenty.
Congratulations and good luck.

I was in a wedding and received a monogrammed flask along with several monogrammed glasses. I use the glasses all the time, very practical. Bar stuff is usually a safe choice.

Have you tried customweddingsolutions.com?

We got our guys gifts from there and they all got something that fit their own personal taste. Good prices too! You could definitely spend less than $100 per guy!

I think $50 is a good ball park. What about a set of grilling tools from Williams-Sonoma or Brookstone's?

How about sunglasses? They come in all price ranges. Include gift receipts so if they don't like the model you chose, they can exchange them after the wedding weekend for something different.
