she seems so unhappy all the time

my husband has this and in the beginning it was really hard. he was 23 when we found out what it was. he got so sick he was hospitalized for 3 months and was fed only from a tube going into a vein near his shoulder. he got down to 114 lbs. nothing worked, they thought he was going to have surgery and then wear a colostomy bag. he was miserable. eventually he started to get better and with the help of 600 a month medications, is doing ok. but it can flare up at any time and thats whats scary, but so far with the meds we have a pretty normal life.
