I am 31 and still struggle with acne. I have found that when I was pregnant my skin was extremely clear which lets me know that acne is a hormonal issue. First see a dermatologist for antibiotics. And then look into a facial peel. Make sure you keep your skin clean. Neutrogena Rapid Clear Oil Control Facial Wash works pretty good for me. Good luck and know that your skin never looks as bad to others as it does to you.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

I got rid of my dark spots with alcohol and cotton pads. Apple cider vinegar will make skin clear too. Take 2 tbls. of acv in a glass of water 2-3 x day. Will make sure you no longer get acne. Read the apple cider vinegar natural cures website for more uses. ACV has 93 vitamins and minerals. I have had acne for over 40 years and this is the first time I have ever had clear skin . Use pure coconut oil for moisturizing. Will not break you out. At first you will get a few zits, but that is the poison that is coming out of you. Just a little coconut oil. Will keep your skin young looking.

Honey, I'm almost 40 and still getting acne. The only thing that worked for me is....yes...Proactive. Only I don't use the whole kit, the toner made my face too greasy, so I stopped that, then I stopped the repairing lotion, that used to help, but it stopped (I used it for over 9 years) anyway, now I only use the cleanser, I go to the mall and buy it at one of the stands in the court yard and it's like $19 a bottle....also keep your face AND hair clean, keep your hair off your face and change your pillow case often (or wash it often) and drink a lot of water.....good luck! I felt the same way, even went to a dermatologist who put me on tetracycline, which really didn't help much, but then gave me yeast infections.....It will slow down, and if your lucky, stop....it's usually hereditary, ask you parents their history...

Hi ger, i used to have such problem last year. Went for facial and tried all sort of face products (for acne) but it didn't help much either. Until one day, my friend recommended me to seek help from dermatologist, Joyce Lim Skin & Laser Clinic located at Paragon. Hope it will help you get rid of your problem. Oh ya, don't squeeze your acne cos' it will leave markings on your face. Cheers...

Try Paula's Choice Remarkable Skin Lightening Lotion. It has an ingredient that inhibits melanin (pigment) production. Also, use 1% or 2% Beta Hydroxy Lotion if you are still getting breakouts. The 8% Alpha Hydroxy Acid may help with your dark spots because it gently exfoliates the top layer of your skin.

I use AMBI. It can be found in walgreens, cvs, and fiesta/

It has worked wonders for me. The fade cream is a life saver. They have soaps, scrubs, moisturizer, and a cream you can put on throughout the day.
