It could be anything from poisoning to cancer to leukemia to depression to worms to a thousand different things. Your cat needs to get into a vet first thing tomorrow. Tonight would be even better as he could die through the night.

I don't think you can get any answer that would hold anyweigh from the information you've given. I will tell you when a cat stops eating it is usually the beginning of the end. He is sick! He needs a doctor!! What are you waiting for??? It could be 100 different things. I think it would be less cruel if you just had your cat put to sleep if you are to cheap to take him to a doctor and treat him. Sorry, that is just how I feel.

Take your cat to the vet NOW. Show the vet what you have been feeding your kitty. If you have fed your kitty any one of the WET cat food currently in recall, your kitty may be in serious trouble - kidney failure. Check the pet food recall list on www.menufoods.com and lose no time to take kitty to an emergency vet.

My favorite cat is once like that...

Maybe he has tapeworms. When the vet checked my cat the vet says my cat is full of worms in the stomach. My cat needs to be dextrosed. He needs to be dewormed after 30 days of dextrose.

Checking the vet is the best way to know why your cat is like that...

It could be any number of things, we can sit her guessing but whenever a cat isn't 'right' you should take it to the vet, cats are usually sick well before you see any symptoms, they hide it well, Take him to the vet immediately for proper diagnosis and treatment.
