their advertisements? I hear lot of people say that looks don't matter, that it's what's inside that counts. Is that true, or do most of you just say that so as to not appear so superficial?

This world is about sex!!!!!Dont think it isnt. They use the attractive people to get others to call/answer the ads to make money. Looks is not everything. You can be drop dead gorgeous on the outside and UGLY on the inside. That is not the type of person I want to be with. It takes a beautiful person on the inside to get my attention, which makes that person beautiful on the outside......Someone has to have a good heart to even be my friend. I dont need ugly people around me!!! Thought for the day....Who is the beautiful people and who is really the ugly people?

Advertisements are just that. Ads. Their only job is to entice people enough to come and take a look. We all know that the bulk of the people on the site don't look like the models, but that's not the point. The same way that restaurants use the est looking cuts of meat to get you to come in and have a steak, websites use the best people they have to get you to come and look for a date. It's just the way the world works. How much you let that influence you is totally up to you.

It's different for every person. My personal beliefs are the following. In order for me to get attracted to a person they need to be good looking or outgoing. That's what catches my eye. Since advertisements are trying to sell things of course they will have a beautiful girl. Like it or not, sex sells over anything else.
The way things usually work for me is I see a beautiful girl. I am greatly attracted to her. I talk to her and hang out with her a few times. If her personality is wack I move on. If not then I'll stay with her.
The other way things usually work for me is I hang out with a girl a few times as friends. I notice she is really outgoing and has my personality type so I go for her dude.
That's how things work for me. Ask for advertisements what would the public rather see? A beautiful girl? Or someone with personality. We're talking commercials and magazines here. You answer that question and then you'll have your answer.

You know what..looks do matter and to be with someone yes you do have to get along, but you most deffinately have to be attracted to them. I think its wrong for people to be mean about people in advertisements because they're hot, good for them why not show what they have. I in the last two years have lost some weight and im proud of it. My friends arent as nice to me in some ways but i think thats because they now have competition...theyre not the only ones being checked out. SO NOBODY SHOULD BE HATIN. Its all good, we should just all try to look our best, nothin wrong with that.

What you see out there is what the world says is beautiful, when really its about the personality, why do you think people even get plastic surgery and go to these beauty salons? its so they can try to look like what the world says is beautiful when really the whole world is a lie and is lying.. everyone is influenced...

well looks does matter.people only say that so they don't sound to shallow.because if i were looking for someone i'd be lookng for the good looking ones.and another thing people judge you a lot when you say those things.its a human nature to prawl and look for beaty alone.but watch out they might be empty inside.

Honey looks don't matter . And size does'nt either . i'm ugly as home made hell . and i'm small too . but i'm a very proud man of 43 years old . that's what's wrong with this cold world . people judging people all over . they don't look where it matters and that's the HEART .

Looks matter...to a certain extent. Although, I would much rather be with someone who had a great personality and sense of humor, that wasn't as good-looking, then with someone who had no personality, no sense of humor, and was good-looking.

sex sells thats why u see attractive people every where on advertisement now i say if you cant except me for me den your not the right one by u dont want some one for what they are u should want them for who they are
