I want info on my grandfather, he was a soldier during Vietnam. I don't know his name or what branch of the military he was in. I only have a picture of him.

My family is Vietnamese and his photo show him in civillian clothing. Only my grandmother know his name but she is dead. I want info on my grandfather, he was a soldier during Vietnam. I don't know his name or what branch of the military he was in. I only have a picture of him and he died.

Start by contacting the VA. They have a web site. Is there anything distinquishing in the picture? A unit patch? Anything? The VA will need something to go off of.
