I have a little male dog, and 2 big chow/lab mix females, Can the little dog get the big dogs pregnant? Do I need to separate them in that time? And when will they go in season (born Aug 06) ? It just seems impossible for that little one to get on the big ones back but someone told me it has happen to them

Yes this is better because if your little male dog was a woman and pregnant she would die..But since your bigger dog is a female this is much safer and yes they can~~~

This remind me of a story I had a friend who had a St. Bernard who was in heat, but it was fence in a big back yard. The fence maybe almost five or six feet tall. During the day they see this little Daschund sitting in the yard..they never thought anything about it because they never dream in their wildest dreams that this little thing could get their St. Bernard pregnant. Well guess what.. It happen. So yes to answer your question I know they can. If there is a will there is a way . And they should come into heart around Feb. Depends on the dog really but keep an eye on her around that time..

Oh honey, watch out for the rude freaks that will answer this. No, the little one cannot get the big dogs pregnant because he can't reach. At least I've never heard of it. Even if you separate them, the female will want to be around any males. She may give you a fit. Oh trust me...when they go into season, YOU WILL KNOW. Are the chow/labs indoor dogs? Usually, if they are outside dogs, when they go into season, you will have many strays wandering around. You can check them by taking a paper towel and wiping their...um...private part. I hope that at least a little of this was helpful. :D

Yes even a toy or tea cup size dog can mate with a Great Dane sized dog. If you cant separate them see a vet or pet store for some doggy sanitary napkins(you put them on like diapers). They are designed to catch the blood during the menstruation cycle, should also prevent penetration during "heat" cycle.

I had a chihuahua that tried to knock up my pitbull...lol.. Funniest thing you ever seen..I know it sounds impossible but its not..the female will laydown for the male.. So yes seperate them when that time rols around, you will know when that time gets close because he will start sniffing her constantly and the first few days she will be mad about it and snip at him..after the first few days then she will want it.. so then you will need to seperate them OR put diapers on your female..Good Luck..and I also had a female Dobie that got hit by a bassett hound what an ugly bunch of pups.. long bodies with floppy ears long legs and dobie markings...lmao.

It can absolutely happen. Go to a dog park sometime, you wouldn't believe some of the mixes out there. Lab/chihuahua (I kid you not). Pray that the mommy dog was the Lab lol. Ugh.

Sure, it can absolutely happen. Get your dogs fixed ASAP. Your females are old enough, by far, to be fixed, so do it right away. Keep them separate until then. Get the male fixed as soon as he's 6 months old. : )

Well....First of all,if you dont want your dog pregnant or your dog getting a dog pregnant then you should get them neutered. But,i dont think the little dog will get the bigger one pregnant, the bigger one probably wont let the other either.

The small dog is most likely gonna get the big dog when it is laying down. I have seen it. It's not a funny site.

I dont think that a big dog can mate with a small dog but thats something you should ask the vet, not people online
