Are there people suggesting that my dog did not go to heaven. He was such a good dog. Many people thought he was God. At night you would hear people shouting "God, shut up" - surely God is in heaven?

What will heaven be like, what will we do?
When we go to heaven we lose our earthly body and fleshly desires. We become a spirit person. Animals do not have a spirit person inside of them. We don't have a flesh and blood body that eats, has sex or sleeps. So what would go to heaven?

(Luke 20:27-35) 27 However, some of the Sadducees, those who say there is no resurrection, came up and questioned him, 28 saying: “Teacher, Moses wrote us, ‘If a man’s brother dies having a wife, but this one remained childless, his brother should take the wife and raise up offspring from her for his brother.’ 29 Accordingly there were seven brothers; and the first took a wife and died childless. 30 So the second, 31 and the third took her. Likewise even the seven: they did not leave children behind, but died off. 32 Lastly, the woman also died. 33 Consequently, in the resurrection, of which one of them does she become [the] wife? For the seven got her as wife.” 34 Jesus said to them: “The children of this system of things marry and are given in marriage, 35 but those who have been counted worthy of gaining that system of things and the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage.

(1 Corinthians 15:50) 50 However, this I say, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit God’s kingdom, neither does corruption inherit incorruption.

(1 Corinthians 15:40-41) . . .heavenly bodies, and earthly bodies; but the glory of the heavenly bodies is one sort, and that of the earthly bodies is a different sort. 41 . . .

(1 Corinthians 15:35) . . .: “How are the dead to be raised up? Yes, with what sort of body are they coming?”

(Revelation 5:9-10) . . .blood you bought persons for God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, 10 and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over the earth.”

I believe that animals, or at least, their souls, go to heaven. Why not? They are God's creation, and basically good. They are innocent. And what would heaven be without all the good things in life?

They only have seven vertabrae in their neck so I'd say heaven. My memory is not all that acute so the number may be off by one or two.
