find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and thats how many you need to lose weight.
work out - cardio 4-6 times a week for 30-50min plus light weight weight training
8 glasses of water a day
5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables a day
instead of big meals eat 5-6 small meals a day (portion control)
no junk food, no bleached flower (e.g.white bread, pasta), no sodas

if losing some pounds of any description and inches is what you want then I would suggest you use a diet that is all natural and is rich in protein and vitamins, which is what the FDA recommends. I used a protein based diet after a friend who had lost a lot of weight with this recommended it to me. All the way through you feel great and energized, you also get great coaching and support along the way. The people are very friendly and gave me lots of great advice. I needed to lose 40 pounds and I did so with no problems. The products really work and you feel great whilst losing weight. I lost all my weight in less than four months and they have helped me to keep it off. I would definitely recommend using them. My sister did this also and lost 76 pounds in five months (She works out, I don’t). There is no pressure and they will even send you a load of free samples so you can try before you buy. The samples were the thing that initially convinced me that this was the right diet for me. You also a get a free complete health consultation with the samples, I think I just paid the postage, but for what I got it was well worth it. You have to go to my health abc.com to register your details to get the free samples and the free advice etc and then they just call you up and ask you a few questions. It was so easy. Their main site is www.myhealthabcmall.com and you can see all the products and packages and order from their. Its nice to have contact with real people who care about you losing weight and improving your health. I am in better health now than I have ever been thanks to these products and I know that I will continue to keep the weight off with the help I have received. I hope this helps.

Hello. We have the same goal, expect I want to be lean muscle.

Okay. This is what I have gathered over the past few years.

1. Must exercise. Not just cardio, but weights as well. This helps you lose weight quicker and keep it off. Do more than 30 minutes or more of cardio, each day or as many days as possible. (Boost your metabolism)

2. Must eat healthy. No amount of exercise will help you if you have a crappy diet.

3. Sleep. More than 7 hours a night.

This is what I have been following recently and the weight is steadily dropping.

Good luck!

(email me if you have any questions)

There are really no magic answers other than eat leass, move more.

Eat smaller portions. You can achieve this by gradually reducing the amount of food you put on your plate.

Eat better foods. Quit buying junk food and soda. If you don't have them... you can crave them all you want, but you won't eat them.

Exercise. This just means to increase the amount of physical activity you do each day. Start out slow, do 10 jumping jacks when you wake up... for a total of 100 thoughout the day. Most importantly, try and walk for at the very least 20 minutes every day. You can even do two 10 minute walks, but walk briskly.

Check out weight watchers, they offer an online thing now. Also, I highly recommend the book "You On A Diet" by Dr. Oz.

There are many ways... of couse you shoud eat healthy like others say and excercise... its true what you hear even a mile a day helps out.... i personally took hydroxycut... it speeds up your metabolism some your body processes foods faster and you also feel more active (each pill equal to 2 cups of coffee)
if you go this rout youll have to eat smaller portions and more times a day this co-onsides with the whole metabolism thing....
you should go lower in carbs too and dont eat 3 hours before sleeping...if you must try a supplimental item such as slim fats or boost something along those lines reason why is if your not being active then it takes longer for your body to process the food and the fat just sits there... and of course people will say it doesnt work or its abd for you.... it does becuase of the ingrediants in the pill itself that causes changes in your chemical balance and its bad if you dont use it right.... since its worth two cups of coffee it not good to tak emore caffine like soda... besides thats another thing to cut off... drinks lotsa water too!!!!

Dont listen to anyone that says eat one meal a day.
Eat three meals and small snacks in between. In the mornings eat breakfast, if you do it will kickstart your metabolism and burn more calories. Dont drink ANY pop and plenty of water. Before you eat a meal, drink a full bottle of water. It will trick your body into thinking its not that hungry. If you only eat one meal a day, you will lose weight but it has terrible side effects. Lets say you go out to eat and eat more than your body is used to, you will gain a few pounds just from that meal.

Good luck :]
