Long story.. I don't feel like telling it in detail. Well I liked this one boy, all school year. He's kind of player, never even has a girlfriend. I get hurt on the inside because he keeps flirting but it never leads anywhere. V-day comes around, he flirts. But then asks anotherrr girl to Spring Formal. That day, I meet his best-friend, who ends up asking me to formal. His best-friend really likes me. Two weeks after formal, we had the Sadies dance. So I asked his best-friend, because he really wanted to go with me. But I simpy cannot get over the first boy, no matter how hard I try, even though I don't think I have the slightest chance with him. How do I get over him? What do I do?

give it time, do not give into temptation dont go near the first guy and if you are near him do not flirt just act like you would around another person, time will help you, its just a 'bad boy' thing it will pass. maybe not easy but just be strong.

Ha. Doesn't this sound familar.

In fifth grade I met this guy named Brennan, and I liked him so much. I liked him for the next five years, what a waste of time right? Well, he flirted, and flirted, just liek your guy, but was it me that went with him to the 8th grade dance? Or Homecoming? Or any other social event? Nope.

It was Kaitlin. Jenna. Margaret. Ashley. Brittany. Gina. Get the picture?

I know you like this guy alot. And to tell you the truth, Brennan still makes my heart leap into my throat sometimes, but I've learned to live with it. And even though I liked him alot, and he still makes my palms sweat, I realize that he's not good enough for me.

The best I can tell you is that you should go on living your life. What's the point in wasting your time on a guy who, if ever ends up dating you, prolly won;t even be with you for three days?

Don't be insulted by this guy, he obviously doesn;t know what he's giving up.

Time and restrain, honey. Stop giving him any chances if you haven't yet. And don't go trying to replace him with his friend or anyone else but whom you are not really into. You will find someone you like as much or even more in the future, and you will have grown a little more from this experience.

you are going through the same thing I went through.
I would start trying to really get to know that best friend guy. Pretty soon you will think of him more instead of the player. Thats what happened to me and i feel much happier not always thinking of a guy that doesn't have feelings for me. : )

Be careful don't let the first boy in your life know about it. If he is a player and he'll play you like a guitar if he knows your true feeling for him. Only reveal your true feeling for him if you know for sure that he is not a player

It sounds like, you like him because you can't have him. I say go on a date with his friend, or just be single go hang out with your girlfriends.

What makes you want what you can't have? Once you know that then you'll know how to stop wanting the player.
