Diaretics (enduce urination) may help you. Salt may be a cause, but not to this extent. The best solution is to talk with your doctor and make sure it's not somethig more serious.
Yes, there are but they are not all that healthy to be taking regularly. (Such as water pills) I would recommend drinking more water because your body needs water in order to lose water. Drink whatever your body weight is divided by 2. If you weigh 128 for example drink 64 oz a day. At first this may seem hard and will cause you to retain water for the first two days but you will start to see the difference.
Putting chemicals in your body to reduce water retention is unnessesary and in some cases, dangerous. If you visit a healthfood store you can find an herbal tea that is designed specifically for this problem. It will often have the words "slimming" or "detox" in the title. Three cups a day will not only flush out exess water, but harmful toxins as well.
You can soak some fenugreek seeds (we call it Methi in India) in water overnight and eat it in the morning. It is important that you chew it. It tastes a little bitter, but reduces the water retention in the body.

take 2 - 3 glasses a day make it fresh
u will get barly power in stores
Other is - Grey ground ( an vegetable used in cooking - kalkand a popular sweet is made from it ) fresh one ounce juice - early moring - empty stomach is good - consult a good naturopath before u begin this - so best option is barley water
