Yeah it is. I'm a guy and lost over 10 pounds in less than 5 weeks and now I have six pack abs. That was without watching my intake of carbs. I skip lunch every day and eat a small breakfast but try to make your breakfast contain meat. I drink 2 bottles of flavoured water during school, it tastes as good as soda and is very good for you. When I come home I normally eat a fairly large supper and have a few snacks around 5-6 pm. If you do skip lunch then try to include peanut butter in your diet. It is one of the healthiest foods out there. If you do that and watch your carbs (dont eat many donuts or frosted treats much) then you can do it and still be perfectly healthy. just don't go anerexic lol...

yes with a lot of determination. You have to stop eatting but you have to drink water because without fluid you'll die. Apple juice would be best because it has a lot of glucose and electrolytes in it and it keeps you full

yes but I would try to be healthy while doing it. I would try working out and cutting proportions. Drink lots of water and try to cut out extra snacks.
