My best friend is in high school and she has a bf in college.they have been dating,off and on,for 3.5 years now. and she claims they used to have a really good realtionship.now he emotionally abuses her and it kills me.and hes not afraid to grab her.he tells her who she can hang out with and stuff.she claims shes in love with him but I dont think she is.shes been having really bad dreams lately and i think they relate to him.He tells us that she only needs him and im afraid hes going to take her somewhere.She doesnt tell her other friends about him either.just me and when i talked to her today she showed me that she is engaged.she said she would think about it and he got mad and broke it.shes probubly going to end up saying yes.please i dont know how to help her.i love her to death.i dont know if i should just be there for her.or stop her.im really afraid hes going to do something. please help.

Right now u r the one who can make her undersatnd thet the guy is not suitable for her and ur friend is seems to be an innocent one as u described abt her.
Ur friend needs emotional support which u should give as u undestand here better.
And U (yes U) go to her perents and tell them all abt these things......dont let her to tell these things to her parents,it would be better if u tell her parents abt her.
and one more thing tell her parents that they should nt talk abt this with ur friend at least for the time being.

ok for a situation like dat she needs to grow da hell up thats not a life time person thats a asshole and u need to tell her that and den ask her what it is she wants outta life if she wants to get hurt in 7 months or live for 70+ if she chose him then she has to learn from her mistake hopefully b4 its too late

times have changed she is in highschool you need to tell her parents getting hitched in high school thats funny
if she does it wont last long.

unfortunately, she has to be the one to make up her mind. all you can do is be there for her and talk with her. tell her your concerns, she obviously has concern too - try your hardest to help her realize she should listen to her concerns. if she decides to marry him, she will need you even more.
