Im 12 and my bf's 14 i looooooooooooove him so much but everyone says im too young to date! WHY???? How can you be to young to date??? Do you think it's okay to date this young??

mainly because ur 12 sweetie. until ur 18 everyone is gonna think they know whats best. people believe that you have to be a certain age to be in love when u dont even if its puppy love people are gonna have many loves throughout their lifetime and there is nothing wrong with that. Dating is abit much cuz neither of you can drive, but do u necessarily have to go out..just be bf and gf and chill at the house.

I think they say that someone is too young to date because their mind isn't fully developed yet. They are still a child and need to live their childhood years as much as possible and not worry about love, drama, relations and all that- especially if something goes on. Also, at this age, you are not looking for anyone to marry or anything. It is more for fun than anything else.

Yes, that is way to young to date. In order to date, you need to have maturity and understand what it means to care about someone and enjoy the company of the opposite sex; both emotionally, mentally and spiritually. At 12 and 14, you barely can keep friends of the same sex w/o arguing, bullying, making fun of each other.

you can be too young to date because..you might not know the limits how far you can physically go with eacother, you might not know that youre hurting your partner in doing something wrong, you might regret what you do now in the future if you date that person, but hey! not to get your hopes down or anything!
you just have to know the limits and be responsible, and you'll be fine. seriously. ;P
i think its ok to start dating this young. fourteen is a OK age for the guy. lol.

I would not "date" at your age. Dating requires more age maturity. Having a crush and expressing your feelings when given the chance is another thing, but dates...in the sense of a mature relationship with all the rutine of now we do this and that...nah...you are simply not there yet. Take it easy.

Going out as a group with a bunch of friends and him is different.
You shouldnt be commited to someone at your age! Talk to alot of guys, have fun, flirt, start learning what you want in a mate.

I think 12 is way to young to date. Be a kid. Do not try to grow up to fast. Adulthood will come soon enough and you will have all kinds of adult things to deal with.

You are WAY TO YOUNG to date! How much more clear does anyone have to be? Dating is for the more mature teenagers. Your not even that yet.

i dont know, it depends on who the people are. some 12 years olds act like they are 18 and others like they are 4. I think 12 is the minimum starting dating age. just dont get pregnant at your age, other than that, date all you want.
