do you think its rude....my ex and i broke up a month ago and he said we would be friends. but now hes back together with his ex the girl he dated before me. i always try to create frinedly convo with him by saying hi on IM or waving at him but he just ignores me like im not there what should i do to show him i just want to be his friend and that it hurts my feelings that we arent talking or becoming friends like he said....it was a very harsh brake up with no explination why he wanted to brake up so how should i approach this to make it work so we can become friends....

i think it's rude that he said he would be friends with you then ignores you. call him up and ask if he wants to have lunch with you and ask him about it in person.

Yeah its def rude on his part, but unfornately most guys Can never be freinds after a Break up becuase they lack the Maturity level to seperate the Two...
Dont get me wrong not everyone is like this, if I was you I would give it some time and shoot an email or an funny E-card, just to say hi and stuff, but if you still dont get a response, then maybe its better that way, beucase you dont want him/her to pretend to be freinds especially if by chance they dont want to be ya know....
I wish you the best and I really hope he comes around and realizes That theres a good freindship out there, but he doesnt come around, just remember its his Loss, not yours....

Whoa. I had like the same exact situation with my ex about 2 years ago.
But yeah it's rude and disrespectful. But they say they want to be friends because they want you to not be so resistant when you two are breaking up. It's a soften the blow kinda deal. Forget him, all he'll do is hurt you now. I learned that the hard way.

I have a feeling "Let's be friends" was an excuse to make you feel less hurt in the breakup. He probably had no intentions on following through. If I was you I would quit im'ing, calling or whatever. If he wants contact with you he will make it, and it will be your decision at that time if you want to be friends. Don't let him treat you like a fool - let him do whatever the hell he wants, and you move on with your life.

yeah i think thats rude. maby next time you talk to him, be with more then one friends because then it wont seem too personal, and if he still acts like a jerk talk to him, and tell him to get over hiself and that you dont like him in that way anymore, and just say that we never talk anymore and we should start acting ike "friends" do.
