Family studies show that they ARE related, as are all these conditions:
Tourette syndrome, obsessive-compulsive behaviors, conduct disorder, learning disorders and dyslexia, sexual problems, phobias, anxiety attacks, depression, mood swings, addictive behaviors (alcoholism, drug abuse, compulsive eating with obesity),pathological lying and gambling, sleep problems plus many others.

there is no corroloation, but in response to woever said that ADHD is made up:
i take extreme offense at that. i have the disorder, and i love my parents dearly. i had a privaleged childhood, but most of my family has ADHD. it is caused by a chemical imbalance and is not nearly as bad as people make it seem. personally, im glad i have ADHD. i find that the disorder makes me more creative and i would much rather have it than not.

They are two completely different conditions, ADHD has to do with learning disabilities and autism is a lack in communicating with humans and empathy etc.

No Autism is developmental disorder under the umbrella of Pervasive developmental disorder ADHD is separate disorder with very different characteristics. A person can be dual dx with both

NO they are nothing alike. ADHD is when your child is more hyperactive than normal. Autism is a whole other catagorie.

I'm not sure, when I was younger I was diagnosed with ADHD. I am now completely.....oh look a bird....

Some say so, but autism is a real disease and ADHD is a made-up thing to assauge parents who have totally failed to bring up their kids correctly
