Just go through high school without a boyfriend and focus on studies without attaching myself to the "friendship" and "relationships".
I mean I am just so tired of the mixed signals guys send that perhaps it is a good idea to think that the best things may come when you least wait or expect it?

Yes, you don't have to have a boyfriend in high school. If you don't want to deal with guys at your age, don't. You have your college years and beyond, to deal with guys. Do what feels right to you, don't worry about what other people will think of you.

it is perfectly okay. that is what i am doing. im only 16 but..i have already lost my trust for guys without even getting into too deep relationships. i am just watching my friends relationships with guys and its not much fun, they always get in fights and get heartbroken. and it affects their studies and even their social,family lives. so it is GOOD to go through high school without attaching yourself to relationships. friendships are okay though.

Not only OK, but probably a good idea. Most mature approach I've seen on here in a while. Pay attention to your studies. You'll bump into someone really cool eventually.

after highschool
most guys dont play too many more games (in the bad way, as in deceiving and stuff)
but playin games can be fun, lol
just play the 'field' for a while
dont have to get a BF but
just flirt and stuff with some guys

Is it ok? Girl it is better than ok, it's very smart! If I could go back and do high school again then believe me I wouldn't be worried about the fellas! They will be around forever. TRUST ME!

finally, a girl who is making some sense. a lot of girls here are 13 and trying to land a man, and it's refreshing to see a girl who knows what works best for her, and isn't trying to get a guy for the sake of having one. good for you!

i think that is exactly what every body should do becuase high school dating is just sOO overrated...
im glad that you are actually brave enough to do this, becuase deep down i know everyone should but they cant handle the pressure
