huh? some of that advertising is done within family (business) and other times they will pay you but most times cars running around with ads for businesses are the company's car(s). what this is called, when advertising for another, is unknown to me. i never knew it had a special name but if interested, you must first select a company/business to see if they're interested and they talk to them first-hand. i once knew a carpet place that carpeted a VW bug and had the owner of the car run all over town. the car & carpet was such a hit, the carpet place asked others to do it also with their name stenciled in on the sides of the auto. this, however, is rare. anyway, good luck and remember. the item advertised might not be free but maybe a discount or some ad $$$. good luck!

Not quite... The people who sell the pools or install them use this as a way of free advertising. It allows others to see who sold or installed it so if they want to purchase one they can call them. hope this helps.

People agree to put those signs up for the people who have just made their pool. They still pay for the pool but the sign just lets everyone know who did it. Its kindof sneaky advertising..

Sometimes the company that installs a pool will give a discount if you put a sign up for a certain amount of time telling who installed it.
