It's my understanding that the term "Theater Row Seating" means the seats are mounted slightly higher than normal, allowing rear seat occupants an unobstructed view of the road ahead and clear communication with the front seat occupants.

Higher like stated before. And having children looking foward helps with car sickness.

it would be just like seperate seats but really close together side by side
