I would currently found out the dog food i used was recalled. What are symptoms for a liver damage. what should i do to feed him.
I does not like to eat his dog food plain. what can i mix to make a sauce. any suggestion. Myaybe rice, broth or an egg.

First it's kidney damage that they have found with the dogs. If you are that worried then bring your pet into the vets for a check up.
By now all the recalled food should be off the shelves so I think it would be OK to go and buy new wet food that your dogs like.

I have an Akita and she is in the beginning stages of renal failure. She was throwing up, leaking urine and constantly following me around. You know your pet. If they are sick they tell you in some way or another. As for what kind of food you should feed your pet... ask your vet what they recommend. science diet is very good (pricey) euckanuba would be my second choice. If you want to add moisture to their food, add a partial can of canned dog food. Diet change can wreak havok on the pooches belly. just remember that diet changes should be done gradually to avoid any problems.

Make up some white rice and add it to the DRY dog food.
Don't try other dog foods for some time especially while
this problem is still going on. I would take your dog to the
vet ASAP to make sure the other food hasn't caused to
much harm, or if it has to get the dog treated.

liver failer can also look parvo. dog acts sick. the dog will eat what you feed him if you will try this way of feeding. put down what dry kibble you feed and give him about 5 min. to eat is and then pick it up and try again in the eveing if you feed twice a day. after about a day and a half he will start eating what you put down.
