I just read the answers you got. You have been given some great ideas! I love the white bedposts with the tulle draped from post to post. Stringing ivy in there too with fairie paper dolls attached.
After painting the walls in pretty pastel shades, you could glue little rhinestone stars on the wall. Silver paper stars would work too.
I found some websites that might come in handy. They have really cute & beautiful fairie stuff.
You can find great fairie wall art & paper borders at
www.efairies.com
www.fairygardens.com This place has great cutouts for the wall of fairies, flowers and ivy, etc.
www.wallpaper-Inc.com
The best place to find the tulle online was www.tullesource.com.
Tulle, in case you didn't know is that beautiful netting such as bridal veils are made of. This particular website has a huge variety of colors. You CAN get it also at any place that sells fabric. Wal-Mart carries it. I'm pretty sure.
I also found an online fabric shop that sells fabric with fairies on it. They have several to chose from. Their fairy fabrics are so charming.
It's www.ladybuttonfabrics.com
Look for the listing, Fairies, Mystical & Celestial in their fabric shop.
Good luck on your project. I know it will be enchanting and addorable. Your little girl will love it.
Oh, by the way, in case your little fairy would want a fairy costume and wand, ALL the costume stores sell a wide variety of them. The magic wand would look great next to her bed or on the closet door or wall.

I am planning on doing the same thing in my daughter's room. While she likes Tink and will have some Tink in her room, we are going to make it all about fairies, butterflies and dragonflies. I am going to build her a bed out of a privacy fence panel, cut down shorter and add tall bed posts. I am going to wrap silk ivy and flowers around the posts and attach fairies, butterflies and dragonflies. Then drape tulle netting from post to post. I am also going to paint a mural on her wall. I got some ideas from the photos on the Disney Fairies web site. I just got a very cute comforter set that has flowers in vibrant pastels on one side and the same colors in stripes on the other. There will be some clear christmas lights and decorative string lights in the mix also. You can modify per her age...My daughter is 8.

it may b hard to picture jus bi how im tryin to explain it lol but here goes.
maybe have a cute little fairy or fairies dangling from the ceiling, paint the ceiling a nice blue, perriwinkle, starry sky clours. ummm the lighting is essential too. do somthing that gives off an enchanted effect. no lamps or anything your dealing with a "terrible two" lol so u dont want them knocking over anything. Lots of vines and little flowers budding would be cute too. its sort of a garden fairly look. Your furniture should be relatively simple but with small details. i hope this gives u some bright ideas. and dont b afraid of GLITTER!

Its very Easy,
A child of age 2 needs a cozy room, with everything at ease.
Why not you paint it in sky blue, and then decorate it with cotton, reflecting snow, bear, and any other of her favorite animals, with desks and any other furniture near to her bed, which will make a smaller room impact, to make more comfortable, run a carpet on the floor.
Money does not matters, when its about our loved one children.

Go to a craft store and see if they have fairy templates. You could paint them on the walls, or even one wall, about 3 feet high.

my mom bought a mosquito net from the sporting good store, dyed it pink and drapped it down from the ceiling over my little sisters bed as a sort of princess veil over her bed. It looked really good and my sister loved it. It was cheap too. Just a thought
