Are you trying to tell us that we do not get any cookies? Because I was really looking forward to deserts or something.

Does this question belong in this section?

I was kind of wondering if some guy named "Bob" was kept locked up in the Yahoo basement and forced to select the Best Answers in exchange for meager crumbs of food for sustenance. I am kind of hoping that this is merely my imagination gone wild, but then again, it is rather preferable to a baboon named "Minky" randomly selecting Best Answers indirectly by choosing which fruit pieces to eat at a given moment in time.

Alas, I am afraid that "Best Answer" may just be an illusion, for the Best Answer is the best answer, regardless of whether or not it is picked or who decides upon it.

[insert humorous, incoherent, but good-natured, ramblings here for better effect]

It is either the creator of the question or the community if the question expires or the asker choses that the community should vote for the best answer.

Well "meaningful debate" might be stretching it, but it makes things interesting. To put it in a question form. Like Jeopardy!

The person who ask the question decided what is the best answer and its always been that way.

As for your details? I guess it is just another example of intelligent design at work.

The asker. The best answer is not necessarily the right answer. : )

I am not here for points. Actually I am surprised every time I get 10 points. I do not seek popularity. I serve God. Luckily He can fix it when I mess up. : )
