it depends what eye condition is affecting the sight in the first place you should see an optometrist or doctor.

No--- you are suffering from Presbiopia --an natural , yet annoying condition that goes hand and hand with getting older .
Without going into all the boring medical reasonings --- you're going to need bifocals -- or reading glasses --

It usually hits around age 40 to 44 and you'll need stronger and stronger Bifocals or reading glasses until about age 50 or so ----- of course this is just a generalization ---

Most people believe that once they are diagnosed with some vision problem and start wearing eye glasses or contact lenses to correct them, they will have to do so for life in order to see better. Those who want a permanent solution to improve eyesight typically resort to Lasik or other corrective eye surgeries. But you you can also improve your vision without surgery and can see perfectly well without using eyeglasses or contact lenses. You can check here to know how https://tr.im/33c02

I have heard about that and it seems the way to go, I have done some eye exercises with my holistic doc to help with other functions of the brain and that has done wonders for my visualization techniques so I imagine there has got to be some truth in eye exercise for general eye health.

Yes its possible. Errors of rafraction are caused by stressing to see (ie. computer, book etc...) and in order to reverse you have to learn to relax your eye muslces. William Heratio Bates developed eye exercises to relax the eyes and to restore vision. It proved much success and was even able to heal blindness.

Wish you well.
