I am sure there are a lot of people out there that hate their dad...
There are some things that people can do to make you hate them...even dads...
I don't think that it is healthy behavior...but it is something that people do feel...
Finding someone to talk to about feelings is a good way to find closure... I hope that helps...

Hate? No. I don't hate anyone. However, I do not have a relationship with my Dad. He decided to spend his life on drugs, in and out of prison and essentially forgetting that he had a son so it truly doesn't matter to me (a relationship) either way.

Hate is a very strong word.....although I know where you may be coming from....I have no relationship with my father due to his drug addiction and honestly and truly I do not put enough energy into him to say that I "hate" him....he isn't worth the thinking about it.....I'm not quite sure what your situation is but there is nothing wrong with avoiding contact with someone who is a bad person.....unless you hate him for some lame reason like not buying you new shoes etc....

My brother does. They have no relationship.. well I guess they do, it just sucks. We all live in the same house, but my dad is evil so we all try to avoid him. But I wouldn't say I hated him, like my brother can say. And the rest of my family members basically have the same opinion but would never admit to it.

NO WAY. i love my dad with all my heart and soul. he is one of my best friends. He has been there for me when things looked like they would not get better. I do not know what i would do with out him. He can be overbearing, but that's what dads do.

no I had the best Dad in the world, Now he is with Jesus and I miss him and would give anything to just see His eyes and here his great wisdom and Laugh with him again, And to here Him say I love you one more time, I miss Him so much ,My heart hurts because I miss Him so much, Love your Dad and learn to forgive, and forget, Because we only have them for such a short time, and then they are gone forever.Jesus loves you and so dose your dad, in His own way, Pray for peace to enter your heart so you can love, God bless the USA and Israel and All
