Well I don't see anything wrong with the age difference. But to see why guys might have a problem is because you aren't 18 yet. So that means you are under age. And in many states you can get into trouble. But as long as you are of age there should not be any problems. Age is just a number. As long as the 2 of you are happy that is what matters.

There is nothing wrong with it. My BF is older than I am, when I was in the 6th grade he was graduating from HS. we have no problems finding common ground. He'll be 30 this year even though i am still in college and work 3 jobs we always manage to find a way to hang out with my friends who are in their early 20's and his friends who are not. Its all about the effort that you put into it. As long as you both want it work it will.

It depends on the guy. I am actually trying to win over a girl who is 21 and I'm 18. If he is 3+ years younger than you, then he is probably more afraid of commitment than anything. But it all really just depends on the guy.

Theres not a damn thing with a few years difference! When it come to decades then it gets to have problems that come with it a bit...but either way...only so many people were born the same year as you...cast ur net shallow and you only get so much back....

I don't mind dating a girl who is up +4 age my age and down -4 my age. If the girl is +5 age or more and -5 my age or less, I wouldn't date her no matter what.

well, you're barely legal, + he can drink. i hate to say it, but he probably doesn't want to be 'held down' by a girl that's soooo much younger, regardless of how much he likes her.
about why guys are so scared of age differences . . . i really don't know, but i wish i did! i know a guy that refuses to go out with my friend because of a four-year age difference, + its really difficult for both of them.

Actually, the only ones I can imagine being scared are your parents. They probably wouldn't want this boy taking the advantage of you, y'know.
