http://www.xemico.com/photogadget/index.html is really easy too. and you can right click on the picture and this is part of the right click options once you download it. Once you download it is super user friendly

download irfanview from www.irfanview.com and follow the steps below:
Image>resize/resample
pick a size
check "keep aspect ratio" so the picture doesn't get distorted
under size method, choose resample and test out the different ones that are there, click ok to do it.
when you are done press "S" to save the file, I would save it to a different file.

irfranview definetly, google it, or go to its homepage. i would reccomend doing to download.com, search or it there (its free) and get it. i also reccomend removing the program from your pc (or mac) when finished. Why?? Because: If you like the Windows Pic & Fax Viewer, or you have any other photo program on pc (or mac) irfran view puts itself as the default photo VIEWER, EDITOR, Etc.....

any chance you have on your computer Microsoft Office? If so there is Microsoft Picture Manager that can change the size of your photo's.
