Okay I dont know what an industrial piercing is but I do have my tongue, nose, belly, and ears pierced and if your not 18 you have to have an parent/guardian sign you up. Just tell them your g-ma is your guardian they won't ask any questions.

Sorry to hear about your mom. And no ...your Gram does not count. It's not just any older family member, it's a legal guardian which if your mother is around I don't think your gram would be. They have to be in the shop with you and sign there so you can't even take it to the hospital and have your mom sign it to bring it back. You both need valid forms of ID and in some states if you have a different last name from your legal guardian taking you they may request a birthcertificate or some form to prove legal power over you. Wait for the piercing so that your mom can go with you because unless your dad will go if he can do it then you have to wait. I am so glad that you are going to a shop and getting it done legally. Make sure the set up takes long or is at least precise even if it doesn't take long. Mine took about 15 minutes to set up before she even pierced it so that she wouldn't have to adjust the bar in my ear. Mine is about a year and a half old and is healed fine. Healed really fast even, I could take it out and leave it out for a little bit at 8 months but everyone heals differently so just becareful and clean it as the piercer directs you to. If you have any questions about the healing process a best bet is to always call your piercer or give them a visit. Good luck with it, they look great and are fun to have.

It really depends on the state and who is piercing you.

Most often you have to bring a birth certificate, ID, and the person signing for you has to have ID that matches the birth certificate.

I have 2 industrials, and want you to know they take awhile to heal, and there are quite a few complications with them. I HIGHLY suggest you have the holes done with rings or shorter barbells and let it heal, THEN put the larger barbell through.

Good luck!

Take a parent and an I.D. you will probably need them both. Before doing it ask the piercer about a super industrial, it's a hell of a lot more painful, but it is also very rare to see. much unlike the original industrial.

I'm sure they'd let your granny sign for you. You don't need to bring any proof you're under 18, that kinda defeats the purpose. You'd want to bring proof you were 18 if you were 18, then you wouldn't need anyone to sign for you.

Each State has different laws regarding piercings, your best bet is to call your piercing shop and ask them. They should be able to tell you what the state or their shop requires.

You just need a parent with a drivers license or some other type of i.d. Have some one say they're your mom. If your moms ok with it then it's not like your being decietful. Good luck!

you need a birth certificate and your adult would need id. if it is not a parent on your birth certificate the adult would need to have a legal document saying its ok for them to make the decision.

anyone over the age of 18 should be able to sign for you - depending on where you get it done. (some places only allow you to be 18 and require proof of ID).
but in july when i was 14 i got my lip done and my sister signed for me.
just depends on the place you go.
