How do you explain miracles? True love?

Oh my god... Creation is proof? This is insanity.

Humans by our very nature do not like to be "left in the dark" on how things work, we are intrinsically "know-it alls" . We do not like the idea that we are not in control of something, or that we do not have an answer to a question. Under this reasoning, in the past, before modern science, we would make things up to help quell this fear. Using crude logic, would would simply MAKE UP easy answers to lots of life's questions. The birth of religion.

Who controls us? Why are we here? Where are we going? Where did we come from? ect.

A man in the clouds controls it all. (We aren't very creative, are we?)

Starting to see the big picture yet?

In the right hands, religion is great. It really does instill good morals in with the right interpretation can help most people lead a good life. It can be a crutch to lean on when times are rough, and it is the greatest scapegoat history has ever given us. It does, for the most part give back to the comunity while strengthening it. However, this doesn't mean it is "right".

The way I see it, the key to life is being able to find "the middle ground." Learn to take the stories the bible spews with a grain of salt. It isn't as literal as some people claim it to be. I may be a strong agnostic, but I can still understand respect and appreciate religion's place in our society.

I can settle this easily. I AM GOD!!! Mwah Ha Ha Ha.

Of course there is not proof that I am God, but I have faith that I am God so it must be true.

God isn't real. He is just a way of understanding that which we don't understand.

I do not choose to ignore the evidence. If someone can show me some proof, that doesn't come from the bible, and cannot be explained in any other way then, I am all ears.

God is real. Keep seeking....

Some just don't recogonize the proof, because they haven't seeked Him.

Once you seek him, and Believe and accept He exist, then you will understand that the proof is In you, and All around you!

A good place to start is to ponder Creation.....

Just imagine if the Big Bang Theory were true...

Imagine a Giant Rock in the midst of nothing, even before it exploded...

Then, think a little deeper.....How did that Rock get there?

Well, it was God of course!

And then you can come back and say...okay, but who put God there? In the Bible, God answers this question...He simply says I AM.

I AM....because HE JUST IS.

This is the point you either believe God put the Rock there, or some how the Rock appeared in the midst of nothing by itself. You will either believe in Him, or deny Him.

It's as simple as that...

Once you figure out for yourself God exsist...get yourself a Holy Bible. The book of Genesis expains creation. The Book of John is a simple book to understand about when God Himself came to Earth as a man Jesus, who died for and then accended into Heaven.

Hope this helps.

Well I see proof of God evry day that my youngest is alive and with us. Today he was outside playing and well he dissapeared and it took more than an hour to find him. Finding him safe and alive was more proof than ever needed that God works in our lives. Another sign of proof was the fact that my home didn't burn down in the middle of the night when on of our plugins caught on fire. Or the fact that my husband was able to go back to work after being hit by a tree. Or the fact that He sent His only Son to Suffer and be Tortured and Die on a Cross (tree) for our sins. If only you should look and seek His Mighty face you should see the proof that He is alive and working in our lives.

God is real in the minds of man who created him. Over time man has created many Gods for one reason or another, but mainly because he did not want to die or have the ones he loves die. He then has tried to kill those who worship the same God in a different way. Man created God. The church and God bring a positive benefit to our lives, but he only exist in out spirit and mind.

Perhaps each of the ten plagues was presented to demonstrate the ineffectiveness of each of the Egyptian ten god’s. Osiris was the Egyptian god of the Nile. The Egyptians believed that Osiris gave life and sustenance to the people because the Nile itself was the vital life-source of ancient Egypt. The first plague was Blood. The waters of the Nile turned to the symbol of death, blood. That was a sign of G-d’s superiority over Osiris.

The name of the Pharaoh at the time of the Exodus was Amenophis, more commonly called Amenhotep. His son and successor, Akenaten, did away with the Egyptian collection of gods and taught a monotheistic religion throughout the land. That God was the SUN!

I don't need proof to know that my God is real. If you need proof then you don't have faith in God.

Faith is the evidence of things not seen.

God is real. The proof is all around you. Ask Holy Spirit to guide you, that made the difference to me. It took awhile because I was not sincere in the beginning. God talks to you through His Word, the people and circumstances. : )

The Earth, the universe, intelligent design, some form of God in every single culture around the world, continuous faith from billions of people, and life itself are all proof for me.

i think it's real simple. religion, any religion is founded on faith. we have some signs, albeit some vague ones, but we need faith to prove our love to God. if we had all the concrete proof that God existed and everyone knew for a fact that there is a God, then we'd be kind of "forced" into worship, mostly out of fear. the image of a loving God and the stories of His power and wrath and blessings given to his followers...sound incredibly far-fetched to say the least, but (don't forget i'm using Christians as an example) Christians believe these stories because it's our (their, for people of other religions) faith.
We need faith to believe, it's even in the beatitudes. faith is one of the most difficult things to keep, but sometimes,it's the only things you really have.

(sorry for the corniness, but i'm a bit tired :) )

There are loads of proof if you are willing to accept it. If you are not then why are you concerned about proof. Just accept the fact that you choose Atheism as the logical way and live with it.
