Psalm 148 commands all of creation to praise the Lord, including the animals: "Wild animals and all cattle, small creatures and flying birds, kings of the earth and all nations, you princes and all rulers on earth, young men and maidens, old men and children. Let them praise the name of the Lord, for his name alone is exalted; his splendor is above the earth and the heavens" (vv. 10-13). If in some sense fallen animals, shadows of what they once were, can praise God on this fallen Earth, how much more should we expect them to do so on the New Earth? "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord" (Psalm 150:6). Since animals are said to have breath, they are included among those directed to praise God

I think it depends on your point of view on the word 'praise'. Personally I when I see my hefty 32-pounder (yes, he's bigger than the baby) stretched out in a sunbeam on the first warm spring day, kneading his claws in midair and purring up a sorm I can just feel him 'giving praise'.

Blessings,
Zimmi

Yes,
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. I think they do.
You did fine up until you started making analogues of things that aren't biblical, IE the stated regarding (If in some sense fallen animals shadows of what they once were) That's not biblical.

Care to elaborate? Where did you get the shadow idea from?

Well, I'm not sure about incidents where they praised God by singing a worship song or saying a prayer BUT...

Perhaps the best way any creation can worship their creation is by doing what God made them to do. So flowers blooming toward the sun, nightingales singing in the night, little kittens romping around, all testify to the creativity and genius of their Creator.

Well humans are the only creatures that is not submissive to the will of God. You can take a dog from China(if you find any) and put him in Peru and he will still be a dog, doing doggy things meanwhile you take a human from Canada and put them in china and they will have to adapt to their environment. So yes I have witness animals praising God.

Even the trees praise him.

Animals don't have a spiritual need as humans do...the way they praise God is by the way they are created they show the wonderful works and complexity of what God can create.

i love this question, that's totally encouraging. at the same time as i think distressed about the wicked equipment of issues I oftentimes positioned myself in the recent equipment. (misery for issues like you say, I own a house, yet I pay taxes for it, and if i do not pay those taxes, sturdy bye homestead. A organic disaster might want to end the homestead) I stay close to the sea and sea coast. yet, you do not walk obtainable at evening, as you not in any respect know what you'll run into. There are bears right here, and Elk herds bypass to the sea coast at evening. I oftentimes imagine how fantastic it might want to be to take a walk to the sea coast at evening the position there's a three sided look after with a roof. in this look after there's a wine refrigerator, espresso and tea pots and different refreshments, video games, and non violent human beings to go at the same time with. The homestead equipment may not in any respect get stolen, the wine and refreshments may be for all, with no individual getting inebriated, and the ambience can be a peace it truly is exceedingly a lot tangible; and also you'll want this to bypass on perpetually. Peace. Edit: I study the different posts, and that i do look ahead to seeing resurrected ones. My father died at the same time as i replaced into 10, and my mom has now died-besides as different relatives individuals. i look ahead to taking section in dominoes on the sea coast look after with my resurrected loved ones and acquaintances. maximum major, inspite of the actuality that, is our worship of Jehovah Will bypass on perpetually.

let the heavens rejoice, let the earth hear His voice, let the winds and the waves praise the Lord, let the birds sing their tune, let the flowers in bloom, let the sky up above praise the lord, what a day to be alive, what a day to be His bride, im so glad im reconciled to the Father ... and if all my possesions were taken away ... it would still be a wonderful day ...

Similar passage from the Qur'an:

"Seest thou not that it is Allah Whose praises are celebrated by all beings in the heavens and on earth, and by the birds with extended wings? Each one knows its prayer and psalm, And Allah is aware of what they do.'' (Qur'an 22:18)

Animals aren't necessarily "directed" to praise God, they were just made to, by being what they are.

Aniamls bring praise to God by doing what they were made to do, and forfilling their purpose... unfortunatly us humans are less likely to fulfill our purpose, and that is to love God, and others as ourselves.

And all you need to do is listen to the birds in the morning singing to God his morning song.

My daughter taught her dog to cross her paws and bow her head before she ate.Till she heard AMEN she didn't take a bite.
Then yes I hear birds singing praise to God each morning, many animals offer up praise to God.They are much smarter sometimes then humans. They know who their Creator is.<><
