Yes, if god was emotional it would be inconsistent and god should be a constant to people steady and mindful and unchanging. Emotion shouldn't be mistaken for compassion. Consistency is key if you describe someone as emotional it means they are up one day down the other and relatively inconsistent in how they feel about you in that moment. People are emotional, therefore how could the being your looking to for answers be up and down we need a mindful and constant to encourage us in our existence.

God is all knowing, so in that sense i guess mindful, but neither word even begins to describe him.
