Perhaps my little grey cells are running low on batteries, but there seems some ambiguity in your question. I'd have to say I believe to sacrifice oneself to save another person. But how is death the "easy way out?" This is what I don't understand at all.

giving birth to someone // raising offspring. to create life, and bring another into this world, you sacrifice some of your own life in order to insure that your offspring will have everything the world has to offer them. its sacrifice of the mind, body and material possesions. but not of the spirit, for it is in this time that your spirit will glow its strongest. this sacrifice is a complicated one though, becuase the fruits of the sacrifice are so great, yet the challenges are great as well. but nonetheless i stand by my answer
