It's rude if your tone is rude. If someone makes a comment to bring you down or make themselves feel better...... then okay, that's rude. But there are some others who are concerned about the changes that they are witnessing and they tend to make comments on it. If the comments are more in a ridiculing sense, it's rude, but if the comments are made because they're just interested, I guess it's not so rude. A person can ask you a question or make suggestions... I guess we have to be careful how we word what we say. If a guy's hairline is receding... it's not his fault, but you can ask him questions or if you're close enough to him, joke around a bit and try to relate his situation with someone close you know (like if your father lost his hair or something) and if you can, suggest some things that could help him.
But basically, in my perspective, I don't think it's rude if the intentions are good.

the final concern to do isn't panic. It would not help it makes issues worse. that is a few easy issues best into all those symptoms. the only concern you're able to do is get some checks carried out. You wont comprehend for beneficial until eventually a try shows some thing. additionally, if the Dr. brushes you off pass to a different Dr. do no longer end until eventually you're chuffed. i'm hoping I helped.

I think it would generally be considered rude, but it depends on how close you are to the person. It's never polite to insult somebody, of course, but if people are very close they can take more liberty in pointing something out. However, this assumes that the person receiving the comment does not know it already. For most of us, our poor shape is all to obvious to us!
When you're on the receiving end of something like "Boy, you've put on a lot of weight," I think the best response is Miss Manners's response: "Why, thank you."

I think it depends on the person. I wouldn't take offense if someone told me I had put weight on but I'm a pretty carefree and laid back person. People know when they are losing weight and losing hair so people don't really need to say anything but they always will. Just brush it off best you can.

I think it's rude. It's a personal question and a lot of people are selfconcious of themselves. Also, think about it this way too.. it's not rude to say, "My, have you ever lost weight"! - implying that once they used to be bigger. Yet people take that as a compliment. I guess I just think it's rude to make such comments to people. It's not the most polite topic of conversation!

Miss Manners, the etiquette columnist in newspapers, says it's rude to comment on a person's appearance. I agree. If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. That's an old saying andt it's still a good one.

Yes, it's rude in our society to ask those questions. People often gain or lose weight because of valid medical problems..They shouldn't have to explain it to anyone.

Yeah, it is rude. I have very little hair left and lost most of it due to medical issues that also caused it to turn white. My favorite answer when somebody says something about my hair is to tell them to mind their own f***ing business.

i think it's unnecessary. people already know if they've gained or lost weight, or if they are getting bald. if you don't have something nice to say, why be dull and mean. because ok you dieted, others can have a different reaction, get depressed, isolate themselves and eat more..
