No. This country is based upon "In God We Trust." Even though the ACLU hates that fact and are doing everything they can possibly do to remove all of the rights that we have as American people. If they are successful in their endeavors they will be the first to be taken out of existence by the new regime.

Not really, but some people just kinda over reacted to that motto and they believed it should be removed when really, it shouldn't.

Perhaps we should have two or more printings on currency to match other beliefs. Some trust that the currency is going to be good when using it.

I personally feel it should be removed from our money. The separation of church and state should ban this establishment of religion. Our country will run just fine without mentioning God on every bill. It just makes those who do not believe in a monotheistic god feel like second-class citizens. Many don't even realize the phrase was not added until the 50's in our fight against the "godless" communists. It was not some invention of the founding fathers they coined "E pluribus unum" not "in god we trust"

Never should have been put on the money in the first place, in fact our first coins and paper money didn't have that motto on them.

I agree with you. It should stay. Our currency needs to have trust on it. In God we Trust. That is Great !

I'm an atheist, and it really doesn't bother me. It's not like my eyes burn every time I see the word God or something. As long as the currency doesn't say "BELIEVE IN GOD OR PERISH, STUPID INFIDEL!!!" or something, I pretty much wouldn't care.

No it should not. unfortunately with the downward spiral that this country is taking with the liberals at the helm i look for it to be removed in the next ten years.

Yes, it should. We put our trust and faith in the genius of the constitution and its organized revolution every two years when we have the opportunity to overthrow a significant portion of our government.

Of course. It's not a Christian country. Why not "In Allah We Trust"? Or "In Ra We Trust"? Separation of Church and State. People of all faiths and no faith are American - why this emphasis on one religion at the exclusion of all others?
