OK why are boys so freaking shy around girls and will not even talk to the girls they like?

It's a fear of rejection and humiliation, and they know girls gossip after they walk away. Same reason that girls are so shy around boys and will not even talk to the boys they like.

Maybe because girls are so unabashedly FORWARD! Let the guy have a chance for crying out loud. Little girls are so noisy they SCARE boys. SHEESH! You don't know what you are missing with a nice shy guy. He has all the brains, and all the heart, and unfortunately, he is too easy. So, all you noisy 'girls' scare the crap outta him. LEAVE THEM ALONE. hehe Somebody has to grow UP!
Looking at all the answers from you guys just makes me sad. I want to apoligize for the whole female species. WE ARE NOT ALL HILARY'S! Yes most ARE... because they are influenced by ... crap! Be the men you are. Wait until a 'lady' comes along, even if you have to be unpopular. Teen age years totally suck compared to adulthood. SURVIVE IT! WE NEED YOU GUYS!

Yes, we shy guys are afraid of rejection. Our sense of logic is: Don't talk to them until they talk to us. (After we are sure they won't laugh at us behind our backs)
