My 1 dog has 5 on his license and the other has 6
didnt know if they made a mistake on one of there lecenses or if they are just different

The number can vary, around here dog licenses only have 3 numbers, I live in a small community so no need for 5 or 6 numbers.

If your concerned call the place in your area that issues them and ask, personally I think you're fine.

It can be 5 or 6 in Texas.

It depends upon where you live and how many dogs are licensed in a particular area. Maybe your animal licensing agency simply changed a series of numbers for any number of reasons. I wouldn't think it's any reason for concern.
