He Rose On The Third Day. Sunday. Any portion of a given day is counted as that day. Crucified on Friday, dying at 3:00 P.M. is still considered Day 1. The Sabbath Saturday is Day 2, and even if it is at daybreak early Sunday, That is counted as Day 3.

Our modern/western method of reckoning time with a 24 hour clock has little meaning to how they reckoned time and days.
Speaking strictly technically... being placed in a tomb on Friday afternoon and having risen by Sunday at daybreak is not a full 3 days as we count them, but the scripture verses are accurate.

Absolutely, the Bible is very clear that Jesus rose early on the first day of the week which is Sunday. What the Bible does not say is that Jesus died on Friday. That is just an assumption which is not true. He was probably crucified on a Thursday or most likely on a Wednesday. The whole teaching that Jesus died on Friday goes on the assumption that the next day was a Saturday because it was called a Sabbath. However it was not a Saturday it was the Sabbath of the Passover feast which could've been on any day.

The problem with saying that Jesus died on the Friday and that each day was considered a full day even that was only part of the day is that Jesus Himself said that He would be in the grave three days and three nights. If he had died on Friday it would have been less than a day and half.

Yes He did actually. He died on Friday, and rose again on Sunday, after 3 days. The way this works is in the Ancient Near Eastern way of determining days. You see, Jesus died and was taken down from His cross between 3pm and 6pm on the Friday, because the Jewish Passover festival, the holiest time of year for Jews, was to be celebrated that coming Sabbath, the Saturday, so they needed to get all of this stuff done before Midnight or else they'd be breaking the Sabbath Law, so Jesus is buried after He's taken down. After He's laid in His tomb, the rest of Friday passes by, making that one day. Then all of the Sabbath day passes by, making that the second day. Then Sunday, the thrid day, comes, and Jesus rises from the dead. The Scripture actually has Jesus prophesying that He would rise again ON the third day, not after the third day, and all of the testimonies following that in Scripture proclaim that it was indeed on the third day that Jesus rose from the dead. The third day was Sunday because He died with still a few hours left in Friday and with all of Saturday still to come before Sunday. Therefore, Jesus rose on Sunday morning, which was the third day.

Jesus fulfilled the law. So exactly what did Jesus fulfill. If Jesus kept God's law, what part of the law is deemed absolute?

The weekly Sabbath! And annual Sabbaths! Not the resurrection. First observe the weekly Sabbath and annual Sabbath's, then the rest will be put into it's proper place.

The weekly Sabbath is not Sunday the first day of the week, rather it is the last day of the week and starts at sundown on Friday and ends at sundown on Saturday. Not midnight to midnight under the current theme of thinking of time.

He rose on sunday. That is the whole basis of christians going to church on sunday instead of saturday. Christians go on sunday as a thanks to Jesus. And that's also why easter is always celebrated on "Easter Sunday".

Mathematically the myth is that he rose on the "third" day, which was only like 32 hours later since he was hypothetically killed Friday night.
