I've become completely enamored with a particular girl, but when we went on a date, she claimed that she saw me as just a friend. I went along with it, but I can't seem to get over her. I've determined that I need to do whatever is necessary to get out the "friend zone". What is the best way to get out of it? I've thought of completely reinventing myself, but I don't know if that's completely necessary. What do ya'll think I need to do?

Settling for being someone's friend in hopes that she'll see the light and want more just doesn't work. I think you need to be straight with her, tell her what kind of relationship you really want with her and be ready to move on if she isn't on the same page. Why waste your time on someone who isn't available to you at the expense of hooking up with the right person? If you're busy chasing after this girl, you'll miss your opportunites out there.

"It has everything to do with sexual value. Making someone jealous is one of the quickest ways to establish your sexual value. I can not stress that enough. In the platonic situation, she is use to you showing her some level of romantic attention. Even if she isn't interested in you, she still will be getting some good feelings from the attention you show her.

Therefore, by showing that your interest in elsewhere (making her jealous), you are cutting off the platonic friend's good feelings. She will lose a happy source. She will be drawn to you on a level that she can't quite explain. An unconscious attraction will always be more powerful than a conscious attraction. "

Well you could be honest with the girl. Tell her " You know what I am not comfortable just being your friend. I thought we could be more than friends." Srry that u got put into the friend zone but sometimes you get stuck there. Either find a new girl or give her that ultimatum.

If you go out a few times and you turn on the charm maybe she will just fall for ya! Remember this you never want to be in love with someone if they are not in love with you! All that happens is you get hurt. Find someone that likes you for who you are and more if that is what you want.

Dont push the relationship thing, that will just make her avoid u more. Take it slow and do not rush anything. Go out with other girls to make her jeoulous that will make her change her mind, if she really likes u.

You'll need to date someone else.

It will show her that other women find you attractive, and it might inspire a little bit of jealousy.
