Because regardless of how far society thinks it has progressed, getting a job is still considered "mens work" and household chores are still considered "womens work".

I do some stuff but pretty much my wife does the "chores". I will load and run the dishwasher or unload it if it needs to be done. She won't let me near the laundry because I don't do it right. Sometimes I'll vacuum or dust but she will do it over anyway. My biggest contribution is not to make a mess in the first place.
Of course I do all the mechanical, plumbing, carpentry and electrical work. She has no interest in that at all.

It's not the chores that bother men. It's the way in which men are asked to do the chores is what men don't like.

They have been bought up and taught by their parents and their parents never taught them to help around the house. Society still falls under the same problems. Parents expect girls to be more mature and help out more and allow boys to get away with being filthy and irresponsible. That is caused by "bad parenting" and "lack of discipline."
There are some men that aren't that way. They were bought up to be very responsible men and women. It is all about how their parents taught them. There are many women that live like pigs too and is caused by the same reason.

because socially is cliche that those chores must be done by the woman.
Practically, lazyness.
But if the man can afford the wage of the maid, dont worry.
