I think a friend has AIDS, I'm not going to ask him, just wanted opinions from people who know about this subject
Why I think he has it:
He's incredibly thin, has lots and lots of medicins and desinfectants in his room, he was prescribed penicillin, he said it was for a throat infection, but we kissed (a lot) and I didn´t get it, so I'm thinking the antibiotics were for something else. He had a really bad infection and his foreskin had to be removed about a year ago. He's been having stomach problems but it looks like it was because of the antibiotics he had to take
Not sure if being thin can b an idication of it, unless it was at a final stage, he'd be dying. He's got acne and flaky skin, Don't know if an aids patient could live with acne infections, it attacks ur defense system, so viruses and infections can be dangerous, and he's only 20 years old, the virus takes about 10 years to develop. Too young?
Can aids patients drink alcohol? does it affects the treatment?

I won't treat him any different, and no, I cannot ask him. Apart from all those things, there's litle comments he's made that worry me. Juat wanted to know what medicins do aids patients take, if there's any way I can know.

i think you may be over reacting, i understand your concern, but its unlikely at 20 he has this, unless hes had unprotected sex with someone who has, or shared needles etc. i know you dont want to ask if he has it, but a casual remark about all the medication hes taking wouldnt hurt, and if said in the right way, like youre concerned for him, wouldnt let him think you suspect, if he is, also, if youre wrong, you wont lose face

Did he just get thin or has he always been that way? Bad acne is just hormonal. All those other things are normal too.
If you get a chance, look at the bottles of medicine and try to remember one. Look it up on the Internet to see if it a common antiviral that aids patients take.

its not too young uinfortunatly. It can happen any time, aids doesnt take 10 years for everyone, some thimes it can accelerate far quicker in certain people.
I am guessing you dont feel ok with asking jim- or you would have come out and asked already.
So what I would suggest is that you try to make it feel safe for him to tell you if he has got aids.
This may take some time as what you are looking for is for him to trust you. Only you can see how he can test your trust, and only you can respond in the best way for him. It pritty useless me suggesting things incase I make a mess of your relationship.!
Try not to be inpatient, he has ever right to feel cautious and not to tell you anything, for all he knows it could all blow up in his face. Take things slowly and try talking or spending more time together.
Also be aware that he has every right to tell you or to not tell you, but that its his responsibility to protect you from the virus if he does have it.

calm down. You don't get AIDS by kissing, and I think you are letting your imagination run riot.
Even if he did have HIV - it is his business, no one else's.
Loads of peole are thin, loads of people need medicines for whatever reason, and someone with full blown AIDS is very ill, too ill to be hanging around with silly friends!
I have nursed children as young as 10 with AIDS and babies are born with HIV pos infection sometimes. Perhaps you need to read a bit more to understand it fully. Until then, if you sleep with anyone, use a condom, and you'll be fine

Don't you think if the doctors can tell he has AIDS just by looking at the darn boy, they wouldn't have AIDS tests?!
Gosh people are dumb... That's a question you're going to have to decide to somehow get the answer yourself or just leave him alone. Ask him if he's ok and stuff but keep in mind:
1. Just blatantly asking him would be terribly rude...
You should also research more because I read some more and you have absolutley no idea what you're talking about.
Pray about it though...
God will help you through this.
P.s. Condoms aren't always 100% effective...

I do wish people would read the question properly before attacking innocent people. This lady did not say she thought she was going to get AIDS from kissing. She said she didnt get the throat infection he said he had you dumb ****.

I doubt he has aids but don't you think you are a bit of a daft bint thinking this and not asking. Even if you love the bloke you need to find out whats up. He probably wonders why you've not asked, wouldn't you.

Wow! You've got a very unhealthy fear. There are any number of health issues that may cause the symptoms you are observing - and you REALLY need to calm down.
Perhaps watch this informative video:
