well theres this guy who i asked out a year ago when we never talked... and of course he said no. but then he started staring and then talking to me slowly and now i think he wants to ask me out or hang out or something, but im stubborn and will not make the first move again. anyways i only think he wants to ask me out because 1. he keeps talking to me about random things for 10 minutes, like cereal. 2. he keeps talking about his altel my circle and how he needs more numbers. 3. he talks about movies in theaters and asks if i would be intrested in seeing them (not with him though, just in general) and etc. some days, though he stares at me and does not say a WORD! i don't get it!
i really want him to ask me out, i never really got over him... but hes like shy or something? i don't even know if he wants to! but if you think he does, how do you suggest giving him a little bit more confidence in a modest, non-obvious way?

Don't make the first move. If he rejected you once don't take the chance of him doing it again. Just keep talking to him when he wants to. Ask him what hes doing one weekend and let him know you don't have plans. Talk about the newest movies coming out in theater... If y'all both find one you have interest in maybe he will ask you to go see it. Have a couple people over and invite him, but be sure not to invite only couples (that might make him feel kinda awkward. If he likes you then in doing all this he will have the perfect opportunity to ask you out even if he is shy. Good luck!

sounds like he really does want to ask u out but he's going to have to work up the nerve to do it since u did the first time and he shot u down i'm not sure how u can help him in that way without just being honest with him and ask if he's trying to ask u out

one easy way is if you notice him staring and when he turns around you have to stare at him and when he sees you turn around it might give him the thought that you like him
and yes hes probaly just shy

Give him a chance it will happen don't push it take it easy relax it will happen don't let friends and family interfere

just flirt back wiht him or just tell him straight out that ur wondering if he wants to ask u out and it would be ok if he does.
