he tells most ppl that he is single and that hurts me. i keep telling him not to do that and now he is doing it behind my back. he put single on all of his public profiles. no mention of me:( on the other hand, he appears to be very much in love with me. i know he is, but its just his annoying habit of telling others that he is single that gets to me. how do i deal with it?? how do i get back at him?? any suggestions??

Personally, if I had asked him to stop and he just won't stop, then why would I want to be with someone who doesn't even acknowledge me?
I hope I don't sound too blunt or rude (not my intention) but how does he show that he's very much in love with you? Only when you two are alone?
If you really love someone, you are proud to tell others.
And I highly suggest not doing anything stupid or psycho to "get back" at him - - that's for kids. Just keeping your head up and walking away will do the trick because he's not expecting that.
I wouldn't waste any more time on him.

He most not be the "relationship type" or maybe he just isnt really used to having a girlfriend.
I think maybe you should do the same thing, like put on ur public profiles that your single, just so that he can see how it feels.
That might not be the best thing to do, but if you have already talked to him about it, than you have to get your point across some way yah know!!

Chances are if he is lying about one thing to others.. then he is lying to you as well. He sounds as though he is trying to keep himself "available" to others, not a good sign. I don't usually tell people to do this, but seeing how he is only a boyfriend... break up with him sweety, TRUST ME he may be all love when with you but that doesn't always mean anything(and may be a lie in it's self), especially if he is telling a lie like that! If he loved you the way he should he would be wanting to tell the world he is with you or at least not making it such a secret. Save yourself the heartache and move on.

Your boyfriend isn't lying to you he is single. Are the two of you married if not then he isn't lying just because you may live together he can go out with who ever he wants to and I have a feeling that is what he is doing.There is only one reason a guy would say he is single and that is to attract the opposite sex. Read between the lines before it is to late.

If you have been telling him how you feel about the situation, then take his lie and make it the truth. If you leave him, he will be single and no longer a liar. I would start putting single on my personal profiles and see how he feels about that. Good Luck with what ever you decide to do.

Well, he is putting single because he is in the sense he is not married. On the other hand, it seems he doesn't find your relationship that 'special' to post about it and tells others he is single. Hmmm... sounds immature. Get back at him? Nah. Don't waste your time. Success, however, is the sweetest revenge.

1. break up with him. Let him know how it is to be single for awhile. Maybe in a week he'll change his mind about being single.
2. Tell others you're single. Let him get a taste of it.

You should confront him about it first. Tell him about the public profiles. Even though he may seem head-over-heels in love with you, if he is telling people that he is single, he may cheat on you. If he doesn't change his ways, just flat out dump him. Anyone who doesn't want to admit to their relationship with someone else isn't worth it.

If he says he is single he is not lying, you are not married right? Make things clear are you sure your are BF and GF or just going out? If it is a serious relationship and he doesnt think of you as a GF. You better move on and find someone that really deserves you.

If he has to lie about not being with you, then wouldn't you think he doesn't want to be with you. Maybe hes looking for something else. Follow your heart. I know how hard it is to give someone you love up. But you have to ask your self is it worth it...? And will he stop. You cant get back at him. Or else your just the same as him. Good luck.
