I just got a new black toy poodle. It's a boy, and he is so sweet and adorable. But I can't find a name for him. It's driving me crazy and the name has to be perfect.

you might chose a french actor name like: Belmondo or Delon ( BTW the guy is a fanatic for the black color)
you might chose a designer name like: Chanel, Coco, Dior, J'adore.
and you might chose something funny like Oreo
but it is important the dog can identify its name easily besides being ad hoc for his image. My dog is a black Rhodesian Ridgeback and we called him Matrix.

Go to www.babynames.com they have a huge selection of human boy and girl names, and if you click on the section at the top they says 'names and meanings' there is a section for pet names too. I'm sure you'll find somethign you like there!
