Yep! The floor it is going over has be level and have no buckles in the wood anywhere. Make sure you put down the right underlayment. Go to this website...it tells everything about laying laminate flooring.

yes... where the hell did u get no? laminate "floats" over the floor. you dont glue/nail it down to anything.

yes it can ,make sure your old floor is fasten down good &clean there is a material you lay down first this is to keep mostier out

yes of course, its a level playing field, but why cover beautiful flooring when all you have to do is refinish it?
