Yes, and No. If you itemize you can write off the co-pay, or deductible. Your state may allow you to write off the cost of driving to and from the doctors’ office. In other words the write-off for a vasectomy is no different from the write-off you get for an eye exam, or any other routine medical expense.

You can claim them as part of your itemized deductions for medical expenses if you itemize. Medical expenses are subject to a 7.5% AGI limitation.

There are no tax credits for medical care of any type.

If you itemize, you can take these as medical expenses. Only the portion of your medical expenses that are over 7.5% of your income can be deducted.
