Ok, like I said, I'm 17, and my girlfriend is 13. And we have been talking for a while, and she wants to do stuff. Well, I'm worried, cause even though personally I think it's ok, I know the law doesn't see it the same way. I was just wanting to know what is the worst that can happen if we were to have sex? If anyone could help with this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks alot

(and also, for those of you that are thinking, your 17, she is 13, your sick dude!....It isn't what you think, she is like rly mature, and she is basically grown, she started her female stuff in the 4th grade, so she is pretty much done growing....so plz, i don't want to here how im stupid, just help me out...)

haha you need to grow up alittle and let her too. She is just 13 it doesnt matter if you feel she is mature for her age you should let her grow up. There are different ages for different states I dont know where you live but use common sense she is still young let her grow up

Well, there's jail. Plus, being labeled as a sex offender for the rest of your life. And of course there is always a chance that you could get her pregnant which would really put worry and stress on the her, especially for being so young. Personally, I think that you should wait until she is older and has had more time to think the matter over. Just don't rush into anything, both of you are still really young even though it may not feel like you are. You have time, get to know everything about each other and then when both of you are older you can make this decision and feel totally comfortable with it. Have fun, but don't hurt your future for something that is only a fraction of what a relationship has to offer.

I think whether or not she's physically mature, if you really care about her, you will refrain from the physical stuff, other than kissing and hugging. However, based on your postings, I think you just care about yourself.

You can express affection without "doing it", if you care about a person. Again, I don't really think you care about her very much. That's just my feeling.

It is certainly possible your relationship could become long term but highly unlikely. If you really show her some respect, your chances for long term are likely better.

Your risks are as follows:
- you get intimate and she gets attached to you and you find relationship does not work. She could get in the worse case suicidal; I have even see this with the occasional 18 year old girl. She may get really emotionally clingy on you.
- if you don't take obvious precautions? Disease is a risk but pregnancy is biggest one.
- If her dad finds out and you live in the states, he may shoot you. You don't have gun control down there.

She is NOT basically grown just because she has PHYSICALLY matured. She is not, and no where NEAR emotionally mature. You will basically be a child molester. Do you want THAT on your permanant record? Yes, honey, if you think that having sex with a thirteen year old is ok, then you are indeed, stupid.

She is not mature enough, it does not matter what you think!

Just because she knows things does not make it ok, no you should not sleep with her!
